Ruslan is a former kicker from the Kislev team Chebokov Snowstorm. In a game against the Kurgan of 13th Horde he tripped and fell as he was about to foul an opposing player. This would have been merely embarassing, but unfortunately Ruslan smashed his head against a rock as he fell, and died on the spot. So great was his shame and anger over the unfulfilled foul that his spirit lingered on, searching for a way to get that kick in so that he can find eternal peace.
Having travelled far and wide, Ruslan finally found himself in the Bleakwood, where Lich-Coach Erhard Drache offered him the chance to fulfil his desire.
