In the locker room of the hometown Shamrocks, Aramis Bergstrom is frequently subjected to good-natured taunting about his fragile and delicate nature. Though the words are meant in jest, they cut deep.
For as long as he can remember, Aramis has been the smallest and weakest of his elven friends. Out of a misguided sense of machismo he has attempted over the years to disprove the idea that he is a frail individual, even to the point of putting himself in the way of unneccesary harm.
These acts of bravado have done him more harm than good, however. He suffers from long-standing injuries suffered as a child -- injuries that have resurfaced in his Blood Bowl career during the times when he's hurled himself headlong into a mass of opposing linemen. Someday he may learn, but as yet it doesn't appear that will be anytime soon.
