8/4/06 - Not quite as showy as the team's first legend, Constantdrip Brokengutter, Unearthed Springbulbs has steadily played a superb game, covering wherever he was needed, whether it was as a passer, catcher, or frontline blocker, and today he was rewarded with promotion to legend status.
In a one-sided game vs BlueS in which there were only ever 6 wood elves on the field (and more often only 4), Springbulbs did whatever he could to fight back, scoring once, passing once and earning the MVP (his 14th) despite being constantly hounded by a flock of high elves at every turn.
Luck has definitely been with Springbulbs (so far) as he has never suffered a single long-term injury, and has even made it to legend status without aging.
He will now continue to provide the backbone for the team until some opponent gets bored and fouls him into oblivion!
8/8/06 - Slowly but surely, Unearthed has now become the number 2 star in Faction. He continues to do a bit of everything and grab a couple of SPPs each match by passing or the occasional TD, and he's happy to help out wherever he can. Sadly, unless his team-mate dies first, Unearthed is unlikely to ever reach the number 1 spot!
18/9/06 - In an ugly foul frenzy of a game against Pilli y Mili Vanili, Unearthed received his first ever injury - a niggler - as a result of a vicious foul in revenge for him scoring 2 TDs against a full team of undead, despite being one of only three players to be on the field at any one time. Sadly, the team's apothecary was busy bringing the team's treeman back to life at the time (after another foul) so wasn't able to do anything about the injury. This does not bode well, and may signal the beginning of the end for this fine legend.
17/10/06 - The time finally came tonight for Unearthed to hang up his boots. Having missed so many games from various handicaps, he was doing little or nothing on the pitch but collecting one of the biggest pay cheques still. He took one for the team, and went to join the coaching staff where his amazing experience will hopefully help to rebuild the team into something to be feared once more.
