Kharkov served as a mercenary for king Oke of Kenice. One day he was sent as an ambassador of Oke to Forwo a not so far away county. Count Ened of Forwo expected his arrival because his contract with Oke said, that Oke will send a warrior every month to test out Forwo's defense facitlities.
When Kharkov reached Forwo's borders he was attacked by some griffins wearing count Ened's seal. Bouble crossed and totally pissed off Khadrkov killed the griffins and some of Ened's border guards. he had to submerge to Freeside and joined Khadgar a friend of his youth in founding the Freeside Neuromancers.
