Jak Hammerbert's loss comes as a huge surprise to Blitzers fans everywhere. He had huge promise and potential and unfortunately, the team's apothecary, Bron Steelforge, was unable to save Jak on the field.

Since then the team has undergone some changes, and Bron has since been sacked. Jak's memory will be morned and his number will be retired for this team (at least in this format), and a foundation will be started in his honor, helping local dwarf youths learn more in honing their techniques in blocking and tackling in blood bowl.

Jak leaves behind a wife, Phaeba, and 2 childern Jak Hammerbert Jr, and Jessra Hammerbert, his daughter.

Jak, you will be missed.
