NOTES:
On May 11, 2000, Illinois state troopers received a call informing them that a truck full of first generation plasma screen televisions had been hijacked. The truck was equipped with a satellite-enabled tracking device and the police followed the signal to Fiorello’s Italian Market – a known front for Chicago’s Falzone crime family. A search of the premises yielded over half a million dollars worth of high end electronics.
Fiorello, long believed to be a Captain for Falzone reporting directly to John Abruzzi, was offered immunity all charges if he agreed to give them information that would leave to indictments of Abruzzi or Falzone. Fiorello disavowed any knowledge of any mob related activity.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Inmate has logged visits from Philip Falzone, a “business associate;” and John Abruzzi, another “business associate.” This inmate is rated Grade D and is NOT approved for work in Prison
