Coach Ratone never did figure out why Shrinky Dink insists on wearing the battered armor that was busted up early in season 1 of the Fighting Vermin. He insists it is good luck, and being a superstitious fellow, would rather take his chances wearing the classic season 1 Fighting Vermin green and brown.
10/16/06: As of game 2 of season 2, Shrinky Dink has yet to be proven wrong. He doesn't get as much game time as the others, which reinforces his theory but keeps his pay low.
10/31/06: A game against the Mage Priest Scrubber Squad put another serious injury on the poor battered Shrinky Dink. He was retired with little fanfare.
