Wrum worked as a postman, running from town to town with news and what else needed to be carried fast to a town. One day he spotted Ebil Zneaky Gitz play a match and loved how "fast" this team was. Some of the players even tried to play elf style, which did not look pretty. They needed some running power and here he could help a lot. He was used to running after all.
