When asked about his recruitment, Coach Vladimyr admits that Tarn was acquired somewhat by accident. He was initially intended to be team-mate Renden Gore's evening meal and was therefore thrown into the minotaur's cage. When the clean-up crew came around in the morning, Tarn was found to still be alive, having dodged and avoided his intended purpose throughout the night. Vladimyr recognized that such skill could be utilized on the team, and Tarn was signed.
