Ian has showed that he is both capable scorer, as well as a good defender. He has also, despite of the lack of protection, managed to survive and play in all the first 20 matches of Commandos, and thus promoted alongside others who managed this effort.
Ian has continued to fight and alongside Liam Fitzpatrick has appeared in all the first 40 games of the Commandos, only two original commandoes managed to do this without missing a single game. This earned both of them their second promotions for valour and endurance.
