Nitro was one of the original Gladiators and stayed with the show for four years. He then took a break from the Arena before returning to the last series as a replacement host for the departed Lisa Malosky. He dominated most of the Events especially Hang Tough where he held a near-perfect record. Since the end of the show, Nitro has appeared in many TV shows and films such as 'Death Becomes Her' alongside Meryl Streep and Goldie Hawn.
