Beefcake was an exceptional player on the team who had suffered a serious injury from a jealous opponent who decided to put the boot to his sensitive areas at the end of a game. The hate foul drove Beefcake to further heights of excellence, and he played through the niggling pain, getting stronger as he did. But, the injury caught up to him, and he finally missed a game. The next game, the old injury flared up again, but with the help of the team doctor he was able to hit the pitch, as he knew his team would need him against the orcs. He helped his team pound their way to a 3-0 victory. The very next game, he fought off the pain to show up on the pitch, killed one black orc, nearly killed a second (only to be saved by opposing team's doc) and almost scored a touchdown. For his peak performance, he was awarded the game MVP. All of this adoration led him to further feats of strength, but alas, his injury worsened, possibly from all of his strength training. Beefcake was just too old to continue.
Though too injured to be counted on as a player on the pitch, he continues service to the Tornadoes as their strength coach, pushing the other players to new heights of brutality. Only time will tell if his star pupil, Doombringer, will be able to fill his shoes....
