Xavier Davis prefers to be called "Smokey" because of his tendency to smoke cigarettes before, during, and after the match. He claims it allows him to calm his nerves and settle down. While he's got a lot to worry about on the blood bowl field as a human lineman, Smokey has a lot more to be worried about at home. It seems that Smokey is rather fertile, and it's been six years since his wife has not been pregnant. He has a lot of bills to pay and the regular jobs are just not cutting it anymore. In his free time, Smokey likes to roll cigarettes.

<b>[[Game 27]]</b>
Smokey got to have most of the game off after getting injured early during a game against some really mean rotters with a nasty, mad beastman. The news isn't all bad, though. Smokey's girlfriend released the news that she's pregnant, having conceived during the game while Smokey was in the injured box. No word yet on what Smokey thinks of this, as he was injured and couldn't perform the necessary act, or on what Smokey's wife thinks about it, though one witness claims to have seen Mrs. Davis with a fire extinguisher, waiting outside the locker room.

<b>[[Game 29]]</b>
Smokey completed a pass in a relatively somber game, the first one for the Mediocres after the loss of star blitzer Smasher Benny. In celebration, Smokey went out and bought a carton of cigarettes.

<b>[[Game 37]]</b>
The unheralded lineman, Smokey, scored a surprise touchdown, the Mediocres' only score, in a 2-1 loss. Frustrated with the level of team play lately, Smokey has taken it upon himself to start injuring other players in any way possible.

<b>[[Game 43]]</b>
Smokey was able to test out his kicking boots during a 2-1 loss to a powerful orc team. While unable to injure any of the orcs, he did learn a few pointers by watching the orcs foul his own team.

<b>[[Game 46]]</b>
In a 4-1 loss, Smokey was killed by a dwarf. He was laid to rest with two cartons of his favorite cigarettes and honors as the second dirty player to be lost from the Mediocres' squad.
