Against the Wood Elves "Kokiri Forest" he got seriously injured and suffers from a niggling injury since then.

Nearly died in his 18th match, but fortunately for him and the team the apothecary fixed him.

His 39th match against the Skavens "ross's rats" was a great one, during which he showed once again why is that important for this team.
He scored all three TDs (2 of them 1st round) and this is why his team tied up in the last seconds.

Nurgleek's career came finally to an end after he had to take a very hard hit in the match against the Dark Elves "Tiste Edur Reavers".
The fans and the team will miss him, but the coach Urrghs had no other chance than to retire him.
He explained his decision by turning to the fact that despite Nurgleek's big salary he would not be able to play very often due to his injuries.
Furthermore the coach is hoping that without relying on this great Runner his team's play would improve.
As for Nurgleek. He founded a Blood Bowl training camp where he is looking for new talents.
