In the world of BloodBowl, the name of Queerck is beginning to become mentioned more and more. A skaven linerat suppressing his natural “cautiousness” and showing determination, strength, anger and an ability to hold grudges in a way even a dwarf would acknowledge. Then again Queerck is definitely not forsaking his inheritance, as one of his major assets is a very good eye for spotting the opportunity to back-up any team-mate (preferably a stronger one) doing a blocking. Thus while an opponent focuses on defending himself happens to get his back towards the sneaky linerat. In any game where Queerck is on the team, that is asking to be ambushed.
The risk of Queerck getting in bloodrage because of some player successfully hurting the linerat, or even a spectator yelling some unkind word, is a factor any coach must be most aware of, and often an assisting coach is given the task of constantly monitoring Queerck, in order to keep him focused on the game.
Where Queerck originally came from, is for the moment unknown, except that he was a slave picked for a quickly assembled team doing a showgame against an undead team. The skaven team (bearing the legendary name of the Warpstone Wanderers, most likely as a mockering) was clearly expected to be quickly butchered.( http://underempire.net/index.php?showtopic=23386 ) But several players survived, now making careers of this refreshing sport.
While Queerck is still active as Kicker for the Rambling Rodents, economical challenges has forced the teamowner to rent out his hot-tempered player as hired paws for the Underempire.net Supersonics.
