Punter was the second captain of the triple-gold-medal-winning Greens, having taken them to two Faction 1 titles in a row in Rounds 17 and 18. He replaced <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=402894">Tugger</a>, the strongest wood elf in the Old World, who had terrorised the competition while leading the Greens to their breakthrough triumph back in Round 15.
Punter's style was more subtle, with his nerves of steel turning him into the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=stats&op=top10&division=0&race=0&position=&details=4&status=0">second best interceptor on FUMBBL</a>, with 12 after his last game. Only an elf called <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&op=view&player_id=94602">Well Here Goes Nothing</a> from the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=245">Farwood Fire</a> remains ahead of him on 17, although one of the Fire players' early games put the rest of the leader's achievements under a legal cloud with a highly suspicious 5 interceptions in one game. Punter also reached the heights of <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=stats&op=top10&division=6&race=0&position=0&details=2&status=0">#3 all-time Faction scorer</a> behind Tugger.
While Punter lost a yard of pace early in his career and picked up a niggling injury later on, after his last game he amazingly found some new life in his hands, with his agility on the training track noticeably improved. However, age caught up with him and he was moving even slower than he used to - he was always last in the team sprinting contests. Speculation grew that coach <a href="http://fumbbl.com/~m0nty">m0nty</a> would ask Punter to hang up the boots, and so it proved as the great old campaigner made way for a new captain in the Greens' quest to match the four golds won by the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=37273">Ambassadors of Light</a>, coached by <a href="http://fumbbl.com/~Flix">Flix</a>.
