Thankfully, he changes into a simpler dressing style without the cumbersome accessories whenever he prepares for battle-- and is a genius when it comes to unarmed combat. Just as a point of comparison, in a hasty match with Kirua, Phinks was able to counter all of Kirua's moves and render him helpless within a matter of seconds.
