Created in a hidden genetic laboratory, he is an engineered superhuman. Mortarion has superhuman strength, is more robust than any ordinary human and much more savage. He is really adept at blocking, but unfortunately, the engineers had some trouble with his equilibrium modifications, so he is not as fast and agile as an ordinary human.
