After 46 games and a second ankle injury left Achilles with only MA7, some were calling for his retirement. A grand council was convened to adjudicate the matter, and the <a href="https://fumbbl.com/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=20270">results were clear</a>.

The dwarves fumbled the ball, and Achilles had his chance! Sadly, his weary legs failed him, and in the confusion he was blindsided by Peregrin Tuk. The apothecary rushed onto the pitch, but he could only confirm the obvious. The Legendary Achilles was dead. He was named MVP in his final match, a tribute to his many victories and his service Til the Death.
