Duke was in the service of some rather nasty pit demons. I dont know the details of his service but i hear of some dealings with trans-dimensional-shapeless hounds. He expressed the urge to play ball as a much needed vacation so he volunteered. Saves me money and he seems to be quite capable in the areas of defence and violence.
