Slerpy Jim was an original member of the LoL squad, being instrumental in developing an early strategy and ethos for the team. As well as captaining the snotling pack he was also a much respected poet and philosopher within the Babatronian renaissance movement.

Received a broken jaw in his 2nd game, he made a good recovery until suffering another nasty knock in his 7th game resulting in a serious concussion.

Slerpy turned into an overnight celebrity amongst snotling supporters after scoring in the team's 11th match - becoming the third player to ever score a TD for the LoLz.

He smashed an ankle in his 12th game, but breaking his neck shortly after in his 14th game proved to be one of the greatest obstacles he had yet to face. In his first game back from neck surgery for his 15th appearance he sustained a smashed hip. Despite such strong adversity Slerpy was still optimistic about his football career.

Most tragically in the LoLz' 21st game his prolific run in blood bowl was forever cut short. Towards the end of his career it was clear he was a marked man, an off-field celebrity who had become a victim of his own success.

In his last days he became a mentor to the newly recruited Herman Ditherwick. His teachings proved vital as the young player went on to have a more active career than he himself had managed.
