His previous model was a dirty player. He was replaced by Bright Man though, so that his armour could be repaired.

The match that saw model#1 armour's impaired.
This model would then receive a -ma injury when playing Rc Toulouse. Dr. Wily, however, has opted not to repair him. Between the cost and losing his experience due to the repair's memory wipe, it was decided that Bubble Man can best serve the team as Defensive Lineman; he'll probably spend so much time getting knocked around that the -ma won't become a major factor in any future matches.
