Gierst Battlehard has certainly made a name for himself in the minors based on his toughness. He absorbed more blows than anyone over the past two seasons, and spent a record amount of time on the ground but never left the pitch. During the most recent season, Gierst has managed to develop the ability to hit back at the players that fail to knock him out of the contest.
