Astaroth "the mad" has really got his name due to a reason.
During one of the trips to the wastelands rounding up hobgoblin slaves, the chaos dwarves of Zharr-Naggrund happened to find a frenzied minotaur having slaughtered a whole hobgoblin party.
Of course they quickly saw the potential this minotaur could have on the blood bowl pitch, and thus they captured him and took him to Zharr-Naggrund.
Astaroth is even more frenzied and crazy than the average minotaur, and ususally the team in charge of prodding him onto the pitch loose a hobgoblin or two before each game during their attempts...
