Drake is the iron fist that keeps the demons together, and the intellect behind their misdeeds. He's rumored to be half demon, although no one knows for sure. What is certain is that he disappears regularly, sometimes for a day, sometimes for months at a time. He always leaves precise instructions with his second in command, Kestrel. He's a huge man with strength belied by his lithe form. He moves little, speaks slowly and with great intention, and kills those who cross him without hesitation or ceremony.

He is feared throughout the Tyr region. It is said that his heart is blacker than the plotting of the sorcerer kings, cold enough to still the Dragon, deadly as the silt sea. He's killed more men than any care to count, and he's killed them in ways that freeze the blood. A bounty of 1,000 gold has been on his head for some years, but few have sought to claim his head and none have even found the Demons' hideout.
