Robert was the last "third-generation" player left on the team - a player whose time overlapped with a second-gen player, who in turn played with a plankowner. With his loss, any new additions to the team will stop being fourth-gen and move on to fifth.
Robert was a wonderful beast, but met his end because he Skulled blocks two turns in a row through rerolls, in addition to the bloodthirstyness of the opponents. It was a sad way for such a great beast to go. His replacement has much to live up to.
