Left alone and forgotten by all, a handful of Norse sailors stranded after a failed raid and a drunken shipwreck. They made this rocky excuse of an island their home, which came to be known as Ulfsland.

As a people they grew hard and feral, reverting to worshiping the only things left with any meaning in there scrabble for survival, the Sun and the Moon. To their north a great volcano spewed ash day and night, yet it was its fire they truly feared. They had survived an eruption twice, hanging by a thread to life as half their community died in the fire and the famine.

The sun brought them a little warmth and life to the land Barren even compared to their homes, yet it was the moon they held in true reverence, for it had blessed them, with a form able to defend themselves from ash storms and to survive against foul beings that tried to take what little each man and woman had.

With the ending of the old wars and the boom of trade the Ulstlanders time in solitude was at an end, with life easy and there home successful as a trading port they needed something to satisfy the hearts craving for brutality. It was local at first, small 7s teams playing till one side was no more or the moon rose. In time they got bored with unorganised fighting and lack of white lines; for they wanted to play like the starts on Cabalvision, be cheered on and fight with the best. So taking the name of the volcano that had for so long been their bane and protector, they put together a team, one without trained skill, but raw determination to leave a mark on the map of Blood Bowl.

Seasons
There first challenge would be the Yongbloods XXX league, where we hope to cut our teeth and gain some much needed experience on the pitch. Match one goes by with only a single death, that of Alvar the werecat. The rest moves on, trying to learn some lessons and counting their lucky stars.
The second game was a wake up call, one that could have been won, without loss, but due to poor choices by Badger the stunning skills of the opponent shone though, and we were left limping, feeling lucky more did not go wrong, sadly for Sigrid it was, with a bad leg injury they had to retire and hope that in time it healed.

Bjorg will be missed, died to a stupid Couch call, putting them at risk for no reward.

Vigdis was the last Cat from the creation of the team, 113 games in they lose their life to an angry Orc.
