Retired [X] Wood Elf

These young Elves are my first attempt at Fumbbl...sadly it has turned into a bloodbath much like on the tabletop version. But I continue on, trying to salvage the team I love so much. I'll keep trying 'till everyone falls, and that last player will turn off the lights on this glorious endeavour!

Well it finally occured, the team suffered a loss so severe that it would cause them to retire. Those lucky few to have survived this struggle for dominance will return to Loren. There is a certain amount of pride to be had in the fact that so many good players grew here with the Rockets and that so many great games have been played.

21/08/2004: In a game against the Skaven, Fast Nightmares, tragedy was the order of the day. Although a close game, fought tooth and nail in a cold blizzard, the Wood Elves were unable to wrestle a victory out of the jaws of defeat. Sadly, Aikanáro Telemnar and Oropher Telrúnya, up and coming stars of the Rockets, were killed in this struggle. Our revenge will be brutal Coach Bumper...most brutal...yes...

23/08/2004: The team policy on retirement upon death had to be changed. Sadly, the continued inability of the medical staff to keep the Rockets alive during matches has forced this change in policy. Thus, Maeglin Ancalimë has announced his retirement in order to return to our golden Loren forests to fight off the hordes of Beastman having invaded them during the Storm of Chaos campaign.

25/08/2004: The Rockets suffered another major setback during a game in the blistering snow against the Lizardmen "Lord of the Jungle". Captain Gilmarion Uriowyn suffered a career ending injury to his right knee when he completely tore his anterior cruciate ligament. The Rockets have offered him the position of Offensive Coordinator on the team which Gilmarion has graciously accepted.

29/08/2004: Orophin Oronar was killed during a match against the Lizardmen "Iron Pulse". His death leaves a wide opening in the secondary catcher position that the Rockets will have difficulty to fill. His loss strikes another blow to an organisation that has suffered the loss of several of its up and coming stars.

1/09/2004: Another Elf has decided to return to the Loren woods and rejoin the campaign against Archaon at Middenheim. Golradir Mithrandír will be joining a small expeditionary force of Glade Riders sent to aid the Humans of the Empire. Glorious may his quest be!

15/09/2004: The Rockets returned to the field again, and continued their road which was met by the High Elves of "Vengence". The Rockets were defeated due to only having been able to field 4 players and playing in a severe snowstorm. To the dismay of the Rockets, the following game against the Loren Lawnmowers was also played in the blistering cold blizzard and resulted in the death of team captain Beren Tasartir. The Rockets are now 0-4 in Blizzard conditions that persist throughout the better part of the game.

17/09/2004: After a rather short, 29 game, stint as the number two catcher, Maeglen of Dorthonion has decided to retire. Maeglen will become the Rockets Assistant General Manager and will assist in the management of the team finances. The Rockets have also hired their first woman, Nessa Oronar to fill the secondary catcher position behind Lolindir Ancalímon.

24/09/2004: Alas, the final tragedy has occured. Newly anointed team Captain Mablung Felagund was killed during a match against the Necromantic "Giovanni's Kachikos". This terrible news was followed with his body being snatched away by their foul necromancer and raised. Without their glorious leader, friend and playmaker the Rockets have resolved to return to the woods and retire.
