Hope Steinhardt is the last descendant of the Steinhard family, she could survive the great twin tailed comet cataclysm of Mordheim when she was a child because she was enrolled in the Sisters of Sigmar Order. After some years of excellent military service, she decided to leave the order and recover the family status, glory and power that they held in the past as electors counts of Ostermark province. The problem was that she was not rich as she was in the past and couldn’t hire an army in order to reconquer Mordheim and make the city shine again. So, she decided to gather all her savings, created a new Blood Bowl Team called FSA and joined the most famous league in the world: CIBBL.
During her time in CIBBL she met an Estalia nobleman in the regional season league and she immediately fell in love. What she doesn’t know, is that this “latin lover” was a hustler. He promised him eternal love and great adventures in the new world of Lustria where they could amass a huge fortune. Unfortunately, in the lass match of the season, the noblemen stole all the treasury of Hope’s team and run away with all the gold. As a result, the Fallen Star Alliance. team went bankrupt and disappeared.
Hope with a broken heart and ruined decided to leave the Old World and sail towards the rising sun in search of adventure. In Nippon she met the Divine Sun Emperor, who was captivated by Hope’s strong personality and his familiar history that reminded him of the situation that he was living with the loss of his power because of the samurais.
Seeing that both could help each other, they decided to create a Nippon Blood Bowl team called Taiyo no Kibo, financed by the Emperor and coached and by Hope. The official version is that they will travel to the Old World and join the new league CIBBL+, where the team will be the best ambassador for Nippon in order to create new commercial relations. However, the true version is that Hope will take the opportunity to establish alliances with other regions and races in order to help the Nippon Emperor to recover the government of the country. If she is successful in his mission, she will be rewarded handsomely and will receive Emperor assistant in the future recovery campaign of Ostermark.
Following her misfortune, in a trip back to Japan, the team vessel shipwreck and Hope was the only survivor. The ocean tide drifted her until she came to a remote island in the far south of Nippon. The inhabitants of the island were small people with common roots with Halflings in the Old World. This small society lived in peace and apart from the rest of the world, and Hope finds there a good place to find interior peace, develop her mindfulness and of course taste and savor the best dishes and recipes of the region. In order to thank her guests, our heroine takes care of the local orphaned and created a Blood Bowl team to teach them new ways to use their amazing agility and culinary abilities and show the world what this little fellas could do in best world Blood Bowl League.
