After initial victory, the 11 chosen beastmen were happy. It wasn't until their brutal loss in the second match when they understood why it's called BloodBowl. Three of their beastmen got injured with fourth missing the next game.

AoW decided that the recruiting two freebooters would be a good move and so they went to play what turned out to be their worst game ever with 9 beastmen and 1 ogre against an Elf team <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=115304">Amethist Purebloods</a>. After some bad play and good hits, coach of AoW lost his temper and started to yell at the Elf Coach. As a result of some fiery comments, he decided to only field three guys for the rest of the match, taking huge 0-4 loss.

With <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1310258"><img src="http://fumbbl.com/files/images/chaos/beastman.png">Mutated Manfred</a> missing the next match due to niggling injury, AoW went on to challenge a full 11 men orc team <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=116143">Go Fasta Stripes</a>. Game was yet another disaster and they came out with 0-2 loss. It was also a sad day as the death of very first team member <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1310266"><img src="http://fumbbl.com/files/images/chaos/beastman.png"> Disfigured Danny</a> was a fact.

Never give up is what they say, and damned if we do. After hard and bloody battle, AoW managed to halt their slide with a 1-1 tie against Razorbacks Raiders. There wasn't any reason for a celebration however, as the cost of the tie was death of a key player Sharp Head, MVP of 3 games, scorer of the AoWs first ever TD.

To replace their pervious star, AoW bought <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1566041"><img src="http://fumbbl.com/files/images/chaos/minotaur.png">Groarraugh Bloodhorn</a>, the very first minotaur. Hoping for a successful run with a full team, they went on to face <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=175784">Disharmonic Skalds</a>, a norse team. After a hard fought victory, they came out two man short, losing <a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1319401"><img src="http://fumbbl.com/files/images/chaos/beastman.png"> Larry Blackhorn</a> to death by fans and<a href="http://www.fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=player&player_id=1310258"> <img src="http://fumbbl.com/files/images/chaos/beastman.png"> Mutated Manfred</a> for the next game.
