Established 2504, participating in the first season of Extreme Bowl, in which they were knocked out in the semi-final playoff by Lords of the Ball. Season 2 was a disappointment for all as the Widowmakers failed to win a match, although didn't finish last due to points for casualties.

Through humble beginnings as just another bunch of long shot rookies, to really establishing themselves in the modern league division. A particular turning point for the team was whooping Faros Team 2-0 with the chaos injury box full to the brim. Prior to that victory the Widowmakers had been working hard stabilising their team, morale was at an all time high enjoying the 5 game non-losing streak of: 4 draws and 1 win before going into the chaos ransacking. After this victory the team's newly self-appointed head of PR (as a PR division of the team didn't even formerly exist) decided we must have a logo of some sort and matching team uniforms to inspire a sense of pride among the players.

Their symbol is known as the lucky din, representing ogre prosperity throughout the land.
