<p align="justify">All along the edges of the World's Edge Mountains from Kislev to the Badlands are small communities that constantly struggle against greenskins, famine, local bandits and various other hardships. The future of the people living here is not a bright one and those who live long enough to reach adulthood are strong, ruthless and determined individuals. This is of course perfect Bloodbowl material and it was only a few years after the founding of the first official BB tournaments that the WEW was founded by local Elders in the scattered villages along the mountains; villages that were either too small to be written on any maps or just tugged so far into Orc & Goblin territory that no tax-collectors would ever dare venture there - and thus unofficially rejecting the different provinces' claims on them. The Elders soon realized that BB was good for both hardening their young as well as giving the most talented a shot at becoming actual Bloodbowl stars - meaning a life in luxury with more money than could ever be found in their respective village coffers. It was of course also expected of those who were fortunate enough to reach the Proffesional Leagues to send back money to their families who would then share the earnings with the rest of the village as it had been the custom to do for generations.</p> <b>The WEW used to be a starting team for training players that could be shipped of the pro-teams, but recently the sport has grown more and more popular along the WE Mountains and the demand for a competetive team in the top leagues has rissen.
