DeVirs Last Stand
Retired [X2] Dark Elf

Thought to have been destroyed by House Daermon N'a'shezbearnon two score of House DeVir soldiers were overlooked in the fall of there house While away on a scouting mission. News spread quickly through the Underdark of the power struggle back in Menzoberranzan. Knowing of Matron Ginafae's disfavour with Lloth they feared the worst.
Not knowing what to do next they found themselfs Hiking through the Underdark for week on end, many of there number died and they soon gave up all hope of salvation. Salvation it seemed had not given up on them, for by chance and chance alone they came upon a band of Orcs. This was not an unusual sight in the dangerous world of the Underdark where Orcs were commonly used as slaves by the Drow. But here was a gathering like no other the Drow soldiers had ever witnessed, score upon score of Orcs Goblins even some of the surface races were cheering twenty two Orcs fighting for an Object on a makeshift pitch.
Bloodbowl was not unknown to the Drow but they had never witnessed it first hand, after a while watching from a distence they decided that this was indeed a game being played befor there eyes. Making there way through the throngs of spectators they soon caught the attention of many of the crowd. A large circle incased the two score of drow soldiers and the game came to a halt, tentively (for the drow were feared by surface and Underdark creatures alike) they were approached by The biggest man they had ever seen donned in black and white.
"Why have you come here" the large man asked with a tremor in his voice "We do not often see your kind arround here".
The Drow patrole leader explaned to the Norse man of there struggle through the Underdark and the suspected destruction of there house amid whispers and threats from the crowd. Slowly the crowd became to understand and almost pity this band of traveling Drow.
Sudenly one of the Orcs on the field came bolstering in, "if you stayz you playz" he said with an undeniable threat of death if they did not comply.
Well with little choice left to the weary band they accepted the challange, Out of the two score of Drow only a handful of them survived this first game. However those who did were scouted by a Human coach and now form the team you see before you, and the Drow who did not play in that first match started working hard to make the team and play. There only hope of salvation from the crule Underdark lay in the hands of a Human coach and a game called Bloodbowl, But at least they survived.....for now.
