It is under the roof of our Great Hall, amongst our comrades in battle that we toast to our victories past and relish each crack of broken bone and each tear of crimson flesh with Sinister Norsetalgia.

... Krul had obviously angered the gods that day, as their warriors were as weak in strength as their coach was in mind!

... so confident were we after destroying Krul, that we decided not to go out in our armour... ... looking back as we soothe sore bones we can whole heartedly declare that that was a mistake.

Four of our brave heroes fell just moments into the game as the stinking, gargantuan, black Orcs waded through our defence. But even still, despite out numbered, the fallen were honoured by the courage of our warriors as we thwarted attempt after attempt to cross into our end zone.

By the second half our spirits were high with the knowledge that we had fought so hard with just so few, and now are numbers were bolstered thanks to our apothecary… but little did we know then that the Chaos Gods presided over the field on this day, and would quench their first for spiteful pleasure by gracing the field with their pure, unadulterated, pandemonium.

Hung Drawan Quarterback, picked up the ball with all the grace of Valkyrie and moved into position behind a wall of unstoppable Norse Warriors… but the oddest thing, from out of the Chaos ether a great Time altering Vortex appeared and froze us all in place for many a minute, by the time the Vortex had moved away another ball appeared on the pitch from whence it had first landed, now clearly unmarked and out in the open… matters were only further compounded by a obtuse Orc quarterback whom scooped up the ball in his grubby hands only for, the now deceased, referee to call that ball legal!!!

Nonetheless, through shear grit and resilience we battled back, and by the closing stages of the game our Receiver had the ball and a clear run to the end zone… such was the ecstasy of it all though, with the crowed delighted with our determined performance, that he slowed to stop at the very foot of the end zone to bask in their rapturous cheers and our triumphant glory… … or at least what would have been a triumphant glory if a blitzer hadn’t stood in his way and he hadn’t failed to dodge and weave out of his grasping hands… despite having the benefit of a magical turn back time spell… cursed Orcs!

It was after that statement by Hung Drawnan Quarterback, who was actually fortunate enough to spend most of the game in the KO box, that the coach went out out and bought himself the biggest, meanest looking Ogre he could find and named him “buschin utd SLAYER~!” … not that he ever intended on facing them again!!!
