| Memnoch's Devils is the result of an Amsterdam Amazons team outing... ...where an unfortunate encounter in the back alleys of the city's red light district led to unexpected transformations for two key team members! The motivation of the host vampire is unknown, but many believe she awaits the day when the females of her race will rise from the shadows to enslave the known world (as we are all aware, vampires are generally split between those that are content to live in the shadows, and those that seek dominance over other 'inferior' races - this host even separates female and 'weak' vampires!). As a first step she may want to demonstrate that vampires can dominate their opponents on the BloodBowl field - this may prove a useful piece of empirical evidence for upcoming Vampire Councils. In any event, the two newly-created vampires could no longer stay with the Amazons. What is perhaps surprising is that many reserve Amazons were seduced to join them as Thralls, with the hope of joining the vampiric race when proven worthy. Memnoch's Devils are therefore similar to the Amazons, but are fighting not for girls, but for their vampiric equivalents. Which will prove the stronger? Only time will tell... |
