| <b>Discaimer:</b> <i>First off, if you feel you cant play within 2 mins a turn then please dont ask me for a game, I just dont have prolonged periods of time to play, so please respect that!!!</i> <b>***Founded 19<sup>th</sup> March 2007***</b> <u>Team History</u> Not much is known about the origins of "Sweet Khorne" although the team owner Lord Vorthax: <i>the one with the big ear lobes</i> was known to have a sense of humour (he would want to, with ear lobes as big as he had, he is very wary about them...) and named the team after his favourite snack (or was that his favourite Chaos god, I get confused sometimes!) The team were well known all over the Old World, and were noted for their subtle brutality! How ironic their name was! They made numerous appearances in some of the major cups, they never made it to the Blood Bowl even though they usually cleared all in their path. They missd out that season by losing to a high scoring Norse team, the Vynheim Comets. They could have easily won that match, but after finishing off the players in the pitch, the team went to finish off the opposing dugout as well! Lord Thorax (in no way related to that media hyped Borak!) but was crazier than the lot of the team put together! Opponents would tremble in fear of this monster (<i>and rightly so!</i>). An up and coming Dark Elf team were due to play Sweet Khorne but a quick thinking Witch Elf had a plan to ensure they progressed to the finals... The game started well for Sweet Khorne, half the elves were out of the game at the interval, but something was amiss... Thorax complained his glass of blood tasted different, but wouldnt let anyon else touch it! It was time to play again and they would find out who game them stale blood to drink... but first to finish off the other team. The half started but the unthinkale happened. The commentators were heard to exclaim the following before the 4 day riot started... <b>Jim Johnson:</b>" Lord Thorax runs with the ball straight into his own dugout! " <b>Bob Bifford:</b>" I can't bear to watch this.. Tell me when it's over Jim... " <b>Jim Johnson:</b>" Whats this! He now starts dealing out the boot on his teammates leaving disaster in his path! " <b>Bob Bifford:</b>" They have got a Haflings hope in Khornes bathroom right now Jim. " <b>Jim Johnson:</b>" He appears to have killed all his team mates... but whats this... an enterprising Witch Elf has stabbed him in the neck with a heavily poisoned blade and Thorax slumps t the ground... Sweet Khorne are no more! " Rumours are rife that a Witch Elf had spiked the drink, driving the young Thorax insane (well more than usual) but indeed the once feared Sweet Khorne no longer had any players. Some good did come out of this tragedy, however, with Thorax being given the NAF award of: ***<i>NAF posthumous award for most entertaining exit/death from a Blood Bowl match</i>*** ***<i>NAF award for most own-team substitutes killed in a match</i>*** Now many years have passed with the name Sweet Khorne being associated with that day of tragedy, and of the brutal team, but the team has been remade, learning from their mistakes, and vow to play the ball instead of the man, and to keep a good eye on any Witch Elves! Though who knows... Chaos arent one to be held to their word! Time will tell!
