Under regency of then Big Boss M'l'te Dicethrower (he was reknown for carving dice from his victims' bones and throwing them into a big bonfire as a sign of his victory) they marauded through the Old World. But one day they had enough! Just going to a village, killing all inhabitants, looting their houses and taking away their treasures was nothing special – every Orc out there could do this. So they decided to become pirates!</p><p style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1em;"><i><font style="font-size: 1.5em;font-family:Georgia"><b>M</b></font>'l'te Dicethrower once was a slave aboard an Imperial war galley and since then counted as an expert sailor amongst his tribe. He made his fellas capture a ship and set sail for new adventures. Unfortunately his skills wasn't as expert as they were deemed. After several days without any encounter they were surprised by a storm. Their ship, luckily, was a very good one and thus didn't sink on high sea despite the inapt captainship of M'l'te. But they found themselves being thrown onto an unknown coast, their ship battered by the cliffs, their cargo lost in the sea and most of them drowned or smashe by the rocks just like their ship.</p><p style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1em;"><i><font style="font-size: 1.5em;font-family:Georgia"><b>T</b></font>hus ended Dicethrower's career as a pirate captain (although he now needed a peg leg which would have suited into the picture of a pirate very well!). He and his followers now were too few to go raiding the unknown lands so they had to carefully scout the lands around them. Soon they found out that they were stranded on Albion, the misty island of mysteries. Putting together all his wits Dicethrower only saw one way out of their miserable situation: play Blood Bowl!</p><p style="text-align:justify;text-indent:1em;"><i><font style="font-size: 1.5em;font-family:Georgia"><b>Q</b></font>uickly they kidnapped a local coach and forced him to tell them all the secrets he knew about that brutal sport. And soon they started playing their first matches. Despite still having no real clue about the game their physical power allowed them to survive and learn. My guess was a 1-1 tie with neither of us being able to stop his oponent's offensive drive. Well, it was exactly the other way round! Aecrylis had a bad misclick in turn 1 which allowed me to put pressure on the ball and finally secure it. Tuschka Bellybuster ran in a touchdown in T6 - but before that his teammates had scored 3 cas on the poor women! In T8 the Angels had some nice dice that allowed them to bring one player into the endzone and another one break free for the throw but pass was missed and the Orcs started their drive in 2nd half being in the lead. Some bad positioning an my side allowed the Angels to put pressure on the ball this time. They tried hard but couldn't break the Chargers'thin deffensive line during the first few turns. As they finally managed to bring the ball carrier down they made a desperate run for the endzone but were easilly sacked by New Orc. They secured the ball and opted for the pass but were awarded a double 1 by Nuffle. The last turns were a struggle for the ball but neither side was able to get a secure grip on the ball.<br>Skills gained: Tuschka Bellybuster - Sure Hands<br> Trogg Halfton - Block</p> <p align="left"><a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=team&op=view&team_id=282603">vs. Dragoons of Galrauch</a> (<b>2-0</b>; 2008-03-07; gate: 67000)<br />Quite an unspectacular game. The decision fell early with the Chargers starting on offense and badly hurting a beastman. Being down two players (they started with only 10) the Dragoons never came into the game, especially as their mino went down on first turn and failed three consecutive Wild Animal rolls. Their only chance was at the start of second half when they were within reach of a touchdown but opted to block with Murder Smurf, their team's Minotaur, called 'Mad Cow Braindead' by his team mates when he can't here it. It came as it had to: Mad Cow Braindead went down with his oponent. It was an easy recovery of the ball now for the Chargers and they won 2-0. An outstanding performance was shown by Tushka Bellybuster scoring two touchdowns and inflicting a casualty.<br>Skills gained: Krappa Hammerfist - Stand Firm</p></span></div><br /><br /> |
