Competing in the <a href="http://fumbbl.com/FUMBBL.php?page=group&op=view&group=4944">World War Pulp</a> league Based on Stalin's Red Army during WWII <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eastern_Front_(World_War_II)">Wikipedia Eastern front</a> The Red Army is a reference to the forces mobilised by the communist controlled USSR during WWII especially. The Red Army's patriotic cry was <i>"For The Motherland!"</i> Despite techinical inferiority and generally poorer quality training and organisation that their German counterparts, the Red Army made up for this by sheer weight of numbers and stubornness. The Eastern Front became a war of attrition and the Red Army were the only ones that were going to win the war once the German's had lost the initiative. There were many famous battles and Generals of the era, and they will appear below. I would like to add that I am trying to keep the material factual and that indeed many of the Russian leaders and Generals had committed attrocities that matched or surpassed the callousness of the more well documented events within Nazi Germany. Stalin is recognised as leading a state that in the eyes of 26 other nations committed a holocaust against the Ukrainian people. Some of the Generals like Zhukov committed attrocities and tests on their own soldiers. As a result I have no idolisation for any of the combatatnts in WWII on any side, purely an admiration for the qualities that many individual people demonstrated during times of great turmoil and hardship. <font color="red"><b> Now you have read the chilling truth know that we, the Red Army, will destroy all opponents to our Communist ideals.
