With the mysterious departure of coach Malthor, the vaunted Blood Falcons have fallen into disrepair. They refuse to play and are considered by most to be in retirement. Frustrated, a talented young wizard set out to recall some of the greatest Blood Falcon players to have ever taken the pitch. First, he found the site of the great Valdrek, removed the rock imbeded in his skull and cast a powerful spell. Rising triumphantly from the grave, a figure appeared. Something went wrong. Valdrek had forgotten most of his skills, as well as all of his memories of greatness. The young wizard continued. Player after player turned out slower, less skilled and with decayed armor. Worse yet, they banded together and started drinking--a lot. They also seemed more ill-tempered than he remembered. Hoping they could some day recapture former glory, the young wizard wanted to hire one of the greatest coaches on fumbbl. Unfortunately he could not afford that and instead hired Texan. Good luck--the team will need it. |
