Pirates! BloodBowl Adventure

The full name of this team is The Pirates! in an Adventure with Blood Bowl.

Why?

Well, there was once this learned chap who went by the name of Gideon Defoe, who decided to write a book about Pirates! to impress a girl. The stone-cold heart of this girl was unimpressed and untouched by this act of heart-felt romanticism, yet the crafting of Monty Python silliness, and anachronisms a plenty aboard a ship of comedy scurvy knaves attracted a publishing deal. Four books later and I bet that girl feels quite stupid now...

Within the Pirates! Adventure's they have so far shared travels with Scientists, Whalers, Communists and Napoleon. But they haven't yet shared an Adventure with Blood Bowl. The motley crew with no names (they are only identified by an article of clothing or an item peculiar to their nature) apart from the Pirate Captain and Jennifer (a Victorian lady they picked up in their Adventure with Scientists), have since donned Blood Bowl costumes in order to sneak under the radar of other teams to their Pirate! nature, as playing Blood Bowl seemed like much more fan than trying to build a bouncy castle out of jelly-fish. And so far the've been relatively successful. No one would even think that the burly Orcs that face them on the field of Nuffle are actually Pirates! in hugely cunning disguises. It's led to the Pirate Captain pronouncing that this is probably their best disguise yet; yes, even better than the time they dressed up as French School Children to avoid the authorities the last time they were in England...

So, welcome all to The Pirates! Adventure with Blood Bowl.


<b>Star Player:</b> Don't let the stats fool you. <b>The Pirate Captain</b>, just by being present on the field of play, ensures that any victory that The Pirates! obtain is due to his rapier wit, immaculate vision, and strength of heart. Even when he's sitting on the floor complaining about the toe he has just stubbed and his affable number 2, the pirate with a scarf, runs a touchdown in, it was all down to the Pirate Captain's magnificent planning that such a play has come off! He's a legend in his own right, with a humility defence shield that would make Inspector Clouseau blush, but every now and then he really does something spectacular that convinces the crew that he really is the man they want to follow!
