Story: Owner, Kjell "Toothless" Knuthson bought the franchise rights to this team from a stranded voyager from Marienburg, Fredrik Van Ijstap , on the mystrious isle of Thule while under the effects of mjød. The franchise didn't give him a stadium, but it did give a free player, the ogre Gorm "Bussemand" Normanson and the apothecary Fritjolf Snediig (to be picked up on the northern coast of Thule). Fritjolf, being a clever underhanded crook, had other plans. Originally he was sent to Thule beforehand, to scout for talent, which he did. But, he also planned to murder Van Ijstap and counterfeit his signature on the franchise contract. Meanwhile, Knuthson ventured to the northern coast and found Fritjolf and a dusin rookies. Fritjolf was of course shocked to know of the events but played along, hoping to carry out his plans at a more appropriate time. Only time will tell when Fritjold strikes a blow at the team's owner. But for now the rookies are training in a camp outside the small village of "Humle" on the northern side of Thule. Their first fans are beginning to show up at the training sessions.
