Atletico Montera was founded in 2004 as a provisional team for learning and get familiarised with 'new' Blood Bowl rules -as its president M.G. Rojo, confirms- Quickly they got some success and local fans from one of the most popular neigjhbourhoods of Madrid, started to get identified with its colours... but.... In the first game... its captain, Becan Jesús Heredia, got injured, what definitely marked the club's faith... and its nickname 'the hurtingbacks'... After a couple of games against also starting teams such as: dwarves, lizardmen and chaos (with a more or less respectable result of 1/2/0) and also some games where players improved... one player outstanded... Juanito Leroy Jesus McDonald... Despite some successing games and some victories -also some defeats and deaths...- the promising future of the team was up to be destroyed in a single match, against Sektantai... a chaos horde... |
