One hundred years ago the walls of castle Muntak were pearly white. The sun shone brightly ever so often on the blessed inhabitants who lived a reasonably idyllic life in the castle and the surrounding woods.
Yet times have changed. Ninety-nine years ago three travelers arrived at the castle. They were youths, similar in appearance except for the eyes. One had dark red eyes, another violent blue eyes and the third had sickeningly green eyes. Despite their gruesome smiles and nasty disfigurements, the baron and baroness still allowed the triplets to come inside and spend the nights. The three have never seen to have left the castle.
In time, the idyllic life of the castle crumbled and despair grew hold of the inhabitants. Some fled the castle, while others died from mysterious causes. In time, the castle was forgotten and travellers avoided the crimson stained walls.
