Background The Men of Kent & the Kentish Men, are the descriptive names for people born in Kent, or in some cases those of long association with the county. Those of 'Kent' being from the east of the Medway & 'Kentish' from the west. Anyone else being considered an immigrant! With some of the historical figures there is some doubt as to location of birth but their connection to Kent is undoubted. The team moved into a new stadium 'Kent Field' on the 25th December, which it will share with the Maids (Maids of Kent & the Kentish Maids).
