Back in 2391 the treemen Gerard and Frederik Pinetree started a candle factory in the small village of Enthoven. By promoting the use of candles they wanted to reduce the chopping of wood for lighting purposes. The factory grew steadily. In the year 2413 Gerard and Frederik thought it would be good for the employees to play some sports. They founded the "Pinetree Sport Vereniging" (PSV). Blood Bowl was chosen as one of the focus sports.
