Some years ago I helped to restructure a company that manufactured saussages. I was invited to a tour of the plant. I expected that I'd never eat a saussage again after I'd been through. But the opposite was actually the case. Some of my faith in the food industry was restored. It's still a shame how they keep the animals, of course. I try to be a better person and eat less meat, but every now and then, I just need a treat. A treat of WURST.
