Nuln is one of the city-states of the Empire, situated at the focus of four provinces and two great rivers. Due to its location, Nuln is a centre of trade and has even in the past served as the capital of the Empire. It has some of the oldest and most esteemed universities in the Empire, arguably surpassing Altdorf in this regard, although it is hard to tell. Nuln City is one of these Univserities. The Gunners themselves have a history of high and lows on the pitch, with several golden periods of dominance that have been followed by periods of mediocrity and underachieving
