'GOAT'* LEGEND Lineman: Tom Brady. This flash git is the No.1 All-Time Halfling Lineman in the C division with 24 TDs, 21 Cas and 13 MVPs - so his boasting of being the Greatest Of All Time is finally justified! Despite his portly figure Tom is deceptively nimble, tough, and speedy to boot. Can't pass for toffee though due to his bingo-wings - the result of a severe avocado ice-cream addiction.

LEGEND Treeman: Oakheart. Preferred to call himself a blitzer, this treeman could actually JOG! Became the All-Time Top Treeman Blocker on 19/1/23 with 68 casualties, and finished with 73. For much of the Tucks early history Oakheart formed a dynamic and formidable pairing with another MA 4 treeman Redroot. Eventually he got felled by, of all things, a reroll block by a rookie untrained troll.

LEGEND Catcher: Buster Burrfoot. The Tucks greatest ever scorer, and No.2 All-Time halfling Catcher in the C Division. An exceptionally nimble little bugger who could score under opponents legs, or over their heads when flung by one of the treemen! Eventually picked up one too many injuries against some nasty dark elfs, and made a well-deserved retirement to the backroom staff!

SUPERSTAR Catcher: Lothar Longfoot. At the time of his retirement Lothar was the greatest halfling scorer of all time in the C division with 31 TDs in 32 games, but amazingly he never won a MVP award! Now on the backroom staff after getting mashed by an Orc Blitzer.

EMERGING STAR Hefty: Bertie Brandybuck. Another formidable halfling who managed to pack a punch, Bertie was a respectable blocker even for the big folk with Wrestle, Dauntless and Leader. Third on the all All-Time Blocker list for halflings with 11 casualties, just behind Tom Brady.

Most Valuable Pie-eater 2121: Brodo Faggins. First captain of the Tucks. Never really achieved much on the pitch, but boy could he eat pies.

* There is much discussion amongst the Tucks as to what the heck 'GOAT' actually means. Tom claims it is because he is the greatest quarterback** of all time. Everyone else thinks it is because he has extremely hairy legs. Tom's claim is also somewhat undermined by the colander he wears on his head, and rather portly figure - the result of his serious addiction to avocado ice-cream.

** The Tucks are also trying to figure out what a 'quarterback' is. The consensus is it's because Tom cowers a quarter of the pitch back from the treemen on kick off, never daring to stand on the Line of Scrimmage.

*** Did you know...

Many news agencies lazily record the Tuckaneers' teamsheet as fielding 'Altern Forest Treemen', but in fact many of the treemen around Hamper Bay are of a different race deriving from coconut trees. This explains the popular fans' song of 'I've got a lovely pair of coconuts', which is serenaded to the opposition whenever their two big guys go a bit mental and start pounding the opposing LOS into pate.

Did you ALSO know?
The Tuckaneers are famous for fielding a succession of players called 'Tom Brady'. Rumour has it there is a chaos gate hidden somewhere in the Bay, and every now and then (usually when another Tom has just got mashed), lo and behold another Tom Brady confidently struts out claiming to be the 'greatest of all time' from some other dimension. Most of the locals are far from convinced and suspect it is some cosmic joke by Nuffle or Tzeentch... but every now and again a Tom does pull off the spectacular - who knows?
