The Thunderers have taken a sacred oath never to issue challenges.

The sacred oath, it is discovered, makes it very hard for the Thunderers to find any games. In view of this, the coach decides to make an exception for green-skins. After all, we do hate them and all. It's a tradition thing.

Occasionally, Zara the Slayer appears for the Thunderers. True to her nature, she insists that the team challenge the undead when she plays. In honour of her prowess, the coach agrees to this second exception from the sacred oath.

After 29 matches, the coach gets bored with the team and trying to find matches for it. The Thunderers move to Unranked in the hopes of being challenged more often.

In Unranked, the Thunderers still don't get challenged that often. The players start disregarding training sessions and a general weight increase is clearly noticeable. A dwarf is never too fat to play bloodbowl however, and the team still takes the field without fear. Star Runner Skinny keeps the fans interested and is the only player to still take the game seriously.
