Lonely Tower Scholars

At the Bardic college of the Lonely Tower, until recently the main sporting activities were tennis and croquet. Their new Head of Deans, Ivan Soulseeker, sometimes also known as the Gray Sage decided that the physed. department should better prepare the students for life in the Wild World Outside College.

Having been somewhat of a player in his hometown streetbowl events he figured that the rough and tumble of a nice and friendly Bloodbowl match would be just the thing for the average student to put some meat on their frames. He also figured that the extra generated income would be a welcome asset to the College's funds.

As the majority of students at the Lonely Tower is human, he will run a predominantly human team, but secretly hopes he might lure some other talents to the college in the future, should all go as expected. As no one at the College knows more then he does (well, at least when it comes down to Bloodbowl that is) he decided to coach the team himself.

After the extended celebrations of their inaugurial game, today the flags were stricken at the Lonely Tower when in their second ever game they not only lost 0-2 to a visiting Chaos team, but also suffered the loss of two of their players. Both linemen were taken out by blantant fouls on the line of scrimage by ravaging beastmen, and in both cases the elven referees claimed to have seen nothing wrong.
